The Lake District

The Lake District is England's largest national park. Located in the North West of the country, the nation park covers 2362 square kilometres and is home to England's highest Mountain, Scafell Pike, and it's longest and deepest lakes, Windermere and Wast Water respectively.
In 2017 the Lake District was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
